A native of Sunnyvale, Calif., Brett Wenck is an industry professional with a strong background in hotel food and beverage operations. He has spent most of his career in Northern California or upstate California as he likes to say. He started his career at Sacramento Marriott Rancho Cordova and The Kimpton Sawyer as a Food & Beverage Manager. Brett also served as Director of Food & Beverage at Hilton and a Restaurant & Bar Manager at The Firehouse in Sacramento. Brett’s philosophy in leading his teams is that every night we are hosting a dinner party and we are all responsible for ensuring our guests have an incredible experience. He believes in providing sincere service and the ability to convey genuine care from everything the guest encounters to perfectly set tables, detailed service, and artfully prepared food all wrapped in a comfortable, approachable environment. Brett loves this industry and enjoys building teams with values of respect and fostering a work family environment. A principle he lives by is, “Treat others as you wish to be treated.” Brett holds an Associate's Degree in Hospitality Management and Culinary Arts from American River College. In his spare time, he enjoys checking out the local bar and restaurant scene and hosting friends and family.
